November 2024 brought powerful enhancements to the DataGrail Privacy Platform with custom Privacy Request Center questions, expanded integrations for system detection, and new ways to access and delete sensitive data.
Welcome to DataGrail’s November release notes! With Thanksgiving behind us and the holidays ahead, we want to take a moment to thank our incredible customers for being leaders in the data privacy space and continuing to push us to deliver innovative new features.
This month, we’ve introduced features inspired by customer feedback: custom question support for the Privacy Request Center, expanded our integration network with new system detection capabilities, and added fresh ways to programmatically access and manage sensitive data.
Let’s dive in. 🦃
New to the DataGrail Privacy Platform in November
Custom question support for the Privacy Request Center | New integrations for Request Manager | New integrations for Live Data Map
Available this month: custom question support for the Privacy Request Center
The DataGrail team understands the complex challenges privacy teams face when processing data subject requests (DSRs), especially during high-traffic holidays when web activity surges and privacy request volumes typically peak.
Recognizing that privacy teams need more flexibility in collecting essential information like customer IDs and brand affiliations, we’ve developed a powerful enhancement to our Privacy Request Center. Now, organizations can easily add custom questions to their intake forms, automatically capturing and propagating critical details directly to ticket systems. This update empowers privacy teams to gather precisely the information they need, streamlining the DSR process and improving overall efficiency.
Custom questions support is available now for all customers with the new privacy request center view and will be available to everyone in the coming weeks. Learn more about adding custom questions here.
